    • Double mane types will also have a "skirt" of wool around the lower sides and rump.

  • Rabbits must have a constant source of clean hay.
    • Feywild Rabbitry uses Timothy Hay and a hay manger.
  • Rabbit cages should be cleaned at least weekly with nontoxic cleaners and throughly rinsed with warm water.
    • Feywild Rabbitry cleans the cages twice per week.

    • Feywild Rabbitry uses recycles newspaper or crushed corn cobs for the litter and corner style small animal litter boxes.
  • Rabbits benefit from fresh fruits and vegetables, but in limited quantity (1 cup leafy vegetables and 1 tablespoon fruit or vegetable at most per day).
    • Here is a brief list of rabbit favorites:
      • Romaine, Collard Greens, Parsley, Kale, Spinach, Dandelions (Momiji's favorite), Carrots, Strawberries, Apples.
  • Rabbits love to play and having toys around decreases boredom, as well as, keeping their teeth healthy.
    • Here is a brief list of toys:
      • Toliet paper/Paper towel rolls, PVC tunnels, Wooden blocks/sticks, Newspaper, Cardboard, Wicker Baskets, Rattles, Belled Toys, Straw Mats.
  • Rabbits need supervised time out of their cages to play.  It is VERY important to bunny-proof whatever area your rabbit will play in.  Rabbits like to chew cords and can be electrocuted.  Always hide or wrap cords in protective sleeves.
